Marriages
Having a consultation, whether in person, via Zoom, or through messenger, provides us with the opportunity to get acquainted. This allows me to understand your ideas and wishes for your ceremony, and it gives you a chance to determine if I am the right celebrant for you.
Getting to know your preferences enables me to create a bespoke ceremony that is meaningful and unique. I believe that every ceremony should be special and personal, not a "one size fits all." My goal is to craft a ceremony that reflects your individual story and sentiments.
If you choose to use my services, I will offer support and guidance right up until your special day. We will work closely on your ceremony script, which will be emailed to you for your approval.
I am committed to making any adjustments you desire, provided that the script is finalised at least fourteen days before the ceremony.
You are in control of your ceremony. We'll discuss every detail, such as:
How you wish to walk down the aisle (alone, together, with someone, or even dancing)
Your choice of music
Readings or poems you'd like to include
The choice is entirely yours regarding how and where you wish to say 'I do.'
You can choose from a variety of locations for your ceremony.
Outdoors: Forests, meadows, river banks, hill tops, castle ruins, loch sides, or even your backyard.
Indoors: Hotels, barns, castles, deconsecrated churches, or any special place that holds meaning for you.
With the necessary permissions, I can also conduct your wedding ceremony in a hospital or hospice if required.
Your ceremony can include traditional elements like Handfasting, Sand, Oathing Stone, Sealing the Wine Box, and the Quaich (Scottish loving cup). If you wish any of these to be included in your Ceremony it is advisable that you supply your own to ensure that you have what you desire.
